On-Campus Living Options for Exchange Students
Georgia Tech offers two living learning community options for visiting exchange and Techsplore students attending Georgia Tech for 1-2 semesters as non-degree seeking students. These programs help acclimate students to campus and allow them to meet fellow visiting students arriving to Tech. Though academic year visiting international students may apply to live in any residence hall on campus, spots are usually competitive, and these two housing options reserve spots specifically for this student population. Additionally, these programs provide the only opportunity to live on campus for visiting students studying at GT for the fall semester only. Learn about the two programs below and compare the options. | ||

About the Program | I-House students host their own events throughout the semester that engage the GT, Atlanta, and global communities! A dedicated Faculty Director meets with students regularly over coffee, food, and casual conversation, helping students adjust to life in the United States and on GT's campus. I-House students attend monthly events, such as professional sporting events in Atlanta, ice skating, museums, and more. These students have access to two kitchens and four lounge spaces with additional amenities, including games, sports equipment, musical instruments, a printer, and 3D printer. | I-Lead students are given the opportunity to participate in fun monthly events put on by the Global Leadership and I-House Living Learning Communities, such as professional sporting events in Atlanta, ice skating, museums, and more. These students live on the same floor as other visiting students studying abroad at Georgia Tech during the fall semester. These students also have upgraded shared lounge spaces in the Matheson/Perry residence halls with additional amenities, including coffee, board games, sports equipment, a printer, and 3D printer. I-Lead students frequently interact with GT degree-seeking students in these spaces. |
