Ashlee Toomey-Flinn is the Director for On-Campus Internationalization at Georgia Tech. She’s originally from Edmond, Oklahoma and got both of her degrees from Arkansas Tech University. She studied abroad for a year in Heidelberg, Germany as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. She’s been working in International Education since 2010 starting at Austin College and most recently at Georgia Tech where she’s been the Education Abroad Scholarships Advisor and Marketing Specialist for the past eight years. In her time at OIE, she’s worked on the Diversity Abroad Workgroup, been the Vice President for Communication for the Georgia Tech Academic Advisors Network and has found success in helping students get national scholarships like the Boren, Critical Language Scholarship, and the Gilman. In her free time, she enjoys learning new ways to use power tools to fix things around the house and playing with her new tiny tyrant of terror, Annie (who’s an Australian cattle dog and Chihuahua mix) and protecting her cat Minion from Annie’s invasive play
